Who is GreenSky®?

GreenSky®, LLC (“GreenSky®”) is a service provider and program administrator to federally insured, federal and state chartered banks that provide consumer (patient) loans under the GreenSky® programs. GreenSky® helps healthcare practices and businesses grow by giving them the ability to offer credit to their patients. GreenSky® works with banks to provide GreenSky® program loans to patients in our provider network nationwide. The GreenSky® programs serve customers ranging from the world’s largest and most demanding businesses, to small and medium businesses, and consumers nationwide.

Is GreenSky® a bank? How do you lend money?

GreenSky® is not a bank, we are a credit technology platform provider supporting federally insured, federal and state chartered financial institutions.

What types of programs do you provide?

We offer several types of installment loans with flexible terms to meet the needs of your patients.

Why should I offer financing?

Offering financing gives your patients more options to pay for the healthcare services they want or need without delay.

Does offering GreenSky® loans cost me anything?

Your practice is assessed fees only when a GreenSky® account is used to pay for patient services. There are no additional administrative fees, enrollment fees or minimums. Contact our Sales Department to learn more.

How long does the application process take?

GreenSky® Patient Solutions has the fastest application and approval process in the industry, with total application to approval time averaging under ONE MINUTE.

How do I pay you?

We invoice participating providers each month for any transactions that occurred the previous month.

How does my patient pay me?

Once approved, your patient is immediately issued an account number as part of their credit agreement package. The patient then provides that account number to the office staff to be used like a standard credit card on your existing credit card terminal.

What are your interest rates?

Interest rates vary based on the credit plan. Specific terms and conditions subject to credit approval.

My patients typically pay in cash, why should I offer them a promotion?

To grow your practice. Offering a promotional financing plan gives your patients more purchasing power and you receive payment immediately. Plus, with certain promotions, your patients have the opportunity to pay over time and avoid interest.

Is your process really paperless?

In general, our process is paperless for both you and your patient. Credit applications are accepted online, by phone or through our mobile application. Loan documents are provided electronically.

How long does it take for me to get paid?

With patient authorization, you can process a payment the same day your patient is approved and will receive the funds from your credit card merchant just like you do when you process a credit card.

How do I offer my patients GreenSky's® financing programs?

Once you’re enrolled, GreenSky® will provide you with collateral materials for display or handouts in your office introducing the Program. You will also receive a website banner or “button” for use on your website. GreenSky® will provide office training on how to best use our financing program in your practice. All patients should be offered financing on an equal basis. Do not discriminate. GreenSky® Program products are offered to qualified applicants without regard to race, sex, religion, color, national origin, age, marital status, familial status, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, geographic location, exercise of consumer protection rights, or any other basis prohibited by applicable law.

What do my patients need to provide when applying for a loan?

When applying, your patients need to provide us with some basic personal information such as name, address, Social Security number, and monthly income. Other than that, you need to verify your patients’ identity using his or her government issued photo ID.

How do I become a GreenSky® Provider?

To become a provider, please complete and submit the information under the “enroll” tab and our sales team will contact you right away to complete the enrollment process.

What markets do you serve?

Our credit programs are available to healthcare and dental providers in the United States.

I got an email from GreenSky® asking for my personal information. Should I provide the information?

The GreenSky® program never sends emails requesting account information, passwords or log in credentials. Protect your personal information and never click on unsolicited web links provided in an email or other correspondence. If you are unsure about an email you receive, you can contact us at (844) 810-7713.

How do my patients submit applications?

Patients can submit applications electronically. Paper applications (including fax and email submissions) are not accepted. Applications can be submitted online, through our mobile app, or electronically with the help of a GreenSky® Program Customer Service Representative over the phone.
